Carmen is a Board Certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She began her career in health care by working as an R.N prior to becoming an APRN. She has logged nearly 20 years of experience in various areas of patient care before earning her Nurse Practitioner designation.

In addition to her extensive clinical experience, Carmen also has an outstanding academic background that includes a bachelor’s degree (BSN in nursing) and a Master of Science in Nursing from the Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program of Maryville University.

Carmen has a unique combination of strong nursing skills and strives to provide the best health care possible. She believes in building a long lasting and trusting relationship with patients. She seeks to acquire a comprehensive evaluation of every patient by taking time to listen and understand their particular needs. Her true desire is to enhance a positive healing experience and confidence to those in need.

Carmen’s pursued a career in healthcare because of her interest in health and well being, her desire to help people, and her love for educating people on how to care for themselves.
